Leading national law firm seeks a lateral partner to grow and lead its compliance and technology practice in Chicago, with a focus on privacy and data protection. The role combines client advisories, regulatory work, and cross-team project leadership across technology-related regulatory matters.

The successful candidate will join an established team and will be expected to develop and expand client relationships, mentor junior lawyers, and work collaboratively across related practice groups. Portable business is welcome and will be considered as part of the appointment.

Proven partner-level experience in privacy, data protection and technology-related compliance work.
Track record of client development and managing complex cross-functional matters.
Experience supervising and mentoring associates and running client teams.
Strong regulatory knowledge and ability to advise on compliance programs and regulatory responses.
