Seeking an experienced corporate partner to join a busy Charleston corporate/M&A practice. The role will lead mid- to large‑scale transactional work, advise on corporate governance matters, and manage deal teams from negotiation through closing.

The ideal candidate will have a demonstrable track record of originating and developing client relationships and will participate in practice‑level business development and mentoring of junior lawyers. The hiring team is open to a candidate with a portable practice.

Established partner-level experience in M&A and transactional work
Proven client origination and relationship-management skills
Experience supervising teams and mentoring associates
Strong negotiation, drafting and deal-management abilities
Active bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction or ability to qualify quickly
