Partner — Corporate (M&A & Securities) — Western Canada

Senior partner opportunity to join a national law platform from within Western Canada. The role focuses on corporate law with an emphasis on M&A and securities work for owner‑managed and mid‑market businesses.

The firm seeks experienced, revenue-generating partners who can broaden local capacity across Western offices; there is particular interest in strengthening the Edmonton corporate team. Candidates may be considered for income partner status with a path to equity, subject to standard diligence.

Group moves (partner plus associates) will be considered where economically viable. The team values entrepreneurial lawyers who can leverage a broader national platform and collaborate across practices.

• Established partner-level corporate practice with demonstrable M&A and/or securities experience
• Portable client relationships or a record of originating and servicing owner‑managed / mid‑market clients
• Comfort integrating into a national platform and adapting to firm billing and client service models
• Open to a two‑tier partnership structure (income partner with route to equity where appropriate)
• Willingness to consider bringing associates as part of a group move where commercially justified
• Strong commercial judgment, client development skills, and collaborative approach across related practice areas
