Senior hire sought to lead and grow an established energy and environmental practice out of the Charleston office. The role will focus on transactional and regulatory matters across energy (including renewables and oil & gas), energy tax, and related maritime and construction projects.

The successful candidate will advise on complex cross-disciplinary matters, work with a national team of specialists, and help expand regional client relationships. This is a partner-level role where a portable practice or demonstrable origination capability is welcomed.

  • Established partner-level experience in energy and environmental matters, including renewables, oil & gas, or energy infrastructure.
  • Experience with energy tax, maritime or construction-related issues preferred.
  • Proven business development skills and ability to manage and expand client relationships; portable practice welcomed.
  • Licensed to practice in the relevant U.S. jurisdiction or able to qualify promptly; strong team leadership and client management capabilities.
