Partner — First-Party Commercial Property Insurance Coverage — Houston

Top-tier national insurance coverage practice is seeking a partner-level attorney to join its Houston office and lead first-party commercial property matters on a national basis. The role focuses on high-value commercial property losses, including large fire losses, business interruption, casualty events, and commercial dishonesty claims.

Responsibilities include managing complex coverage litigation from intake through trial, overseeing and participating in arson and fraud investigations, conducting Examinations Under Oath (EUOs), and providing strategic direction on high-exposure matters. The incoming partner will join an established, high-volume practice; a portable book of business is not required.

• 8+ years of dedicated insurance coverage experience, with significant focus on first-party commercial property.
• Current partner, senior counsel, or equivalent with partner-level capabilities and independent caseload management experience.
• Proven litigation and trial experience in coverage matters, including conducting EUOs and managing complex investigations.
• Active bar admission in Texas; additional state admissions are a plus.
