Partner — Insurance Coverage (Walnut Creek)

Seeking a senior insurance-coverage attorney to join a national practice group in the Walnut Creek office. The role centers on counseling and defending insurers in complex coverage and bad-faith matters across state and federal courts, with opportunities to handle mediations, arbitrations and declaratory-relief litigation.

Ideal candidates will work on coverage analysis and prepare coverage opinions for first-party property and general liability matters, while also participating in litigation tasks such as depositions, hearings and motion practice. The team values strong research and writing, collaborative case management, and experience across insurer-side contexts.

• 8–15 years' relevant insurance coverage experience
• Admission to the California Bar
• Experience preparing coverage opinions for first-party property and general liability claims
• Demonstrated litigation experience — depositions, hearings, drafting/arguing motions
• Strong legal research and writing skills
