Partner, Insurance — Washington, D.C.

Dedicated insurance partner opportunity with a well-regarded US firm seeking an experienced policyholder-side lawyer to join its Washington, D.C. team. The role focuses on counseling and litigating on complex insurance coverage matters for corporate clients and other policyholders.

The team handles a broad mix of coverage disputes, regulatory questions and related litigation. The firm is looking for a senior lawyer who can lead matters, develop business and integrate into a collaborative practice group. A portable practice / book of business is expected for this hire.

• Established partner-level experience representing policyholders on insurance coverage and related litigation.
• Proven ability to originate and manage client relationships; portable practice expected.
• Strong litigation and/or regulatory experience relevant to insurance coverage disputes.
• Bar admission in the District of Columbia or ability to gain admission.
