Leading US law firm seeks a partner to expand a busy commercial real estate and construction practice in the Kansas City office. The role will sit at the intersection of real estate, construction and finance and will regularly support matters involving healthcare facilities, renewable energy projects, industrial/logistics and resort development.

The position is front‑office and client‑facing: you will handle complex leasing, acquisitions/dispositions, development and construction matters, work closely with finance teams on loan and project financing, and collaborate with sector teams (healthcare, energy) on sector‑specific transactions and regulatory issues.

No portable book of business is required; the firm will provide lead generation and cross‑practice support to build a practice in market.

Partner‑level commercial real estate and construction experience, including leasing, development and construction contracts.
Proven transactional experience supporting financings, acquisitions/dispositions and project work for healthcare, renewable energy or industrial clients.
Strong client relationship and business development capabilities; willingness to build a local practice with firm support (no existing book required).
Active bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction or eligibility to be admitted in Kansas/Missouri.
