We are seeking an experienced finance and banking partner to join a well-established national law firm’s Kansas City office. The role focuses on leading commercial lending and banking matters for regional and national borrowers and lenders.

The position offers a partner-level platform with significant autonomy to manage a portable practice and to develop new client relationships across the firm’s network. You will lead deal teams, mentor junior lawyers and collaborate with other practices on cross-border and corporate matters.

Established partner with a proven track record in finance and banking transactions (commercial lending, syndicated loans, asset-based lending, or similar).
Demonstrated ability to originate and grow client relationships; portable business is welcome.
Strong leadership and team management skills; experience supervising associates and collaborating across practice groups.
Active bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction or ability to qualify; excellent written and oral communication skills.
