Leading law firm is seeking a lateral partner to build and lead an active corporate, finance and securities practice in the Kansas City office. The role will focus on private equity, venture capital and capital markets transactions across public and private clients.

The successful candidate will originate and manage complex deals, supervise associate teams, and work collaboratively across practices to service corporate and financial institution clients. There is an expectation of business development and the ability to bring or grow a portable practice.

Established partner with a strong transaction-focused background in private equity, venture capital, and/or capital markets.
Proven track record of originating and closing significant corporate or finance deals and managing deal teams.
Demonstrated client development ability and willingness to grow a portable practice.
Bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction or ability to become admitted.
