Seeking a lateral partner to join a busy Finance & Banking group in the Kansas City area. The role will lead client engagements on commercial lending and finance matters, mentor junior lawyers, and work with practice leaders to grow the regional finance practice.

The team acts for a mix of borrowers and lenders across traditional and asset-based lending, and the partner will handle complex loan documentation, secured transactions, and related regulatory and enforcement issues. This is an opportunity to join a broad national practice while based in Kansas City.

Established finance and banking partner with a proven track record on commercial lending and secured transactions.
Significant fee-earner experience and demonstrated ability to manage and develop client relationships; a portable practice/book of business is desirable.
Bar admission in the relevant state (or ability to obtain) and strong drafting, negotiation, and leadership skills.
