Established national law firm is seeking a tax partner to join its Dallas office and lead growth of the tax practice in the region. The role will combine high‑level tax counseling with responsibility for originating and managing client engagements.

The successful candidate will oversee a team of tax lawyers, work closely with other practice groups on transactional and advisory matters, and play a visible role in business development and client relationship management. Candidates with a portable practice or demonstrable book of business are encouraged to apply.

Proven partner‑level tax experience in private practice (federal, state or international tax counseling)
Track record of client development and ability to originate work or bring a portable practice
Experience managing and mentoring junior lawyers and leading engagements
Strong technical skills, excellent written and oral communication
Juris Doctor (JD) and admission to practice; LL.M. in Tax preferred but not required
