Top-tier U.S. law firm is seeking a lateral Tax Partner to join its Dallas office. The role focuses on providing sophisticated tax advice to corporate and transactional clients across a range of industries, working closely with deal teams and other practice groups.

The partner will handle complex federal and state tax planning, structuring, and controversy matters, mentor junior lawyers, and contribute to firm-wide client service. There is opportunity to grow a commercial tax practice and to work on national matters from the Dallas platform.

Strong candidates will be expected to participate actively in business development and to bring or build client relationships consistent with a partner role.

Established partner-level experience in U.S. tax law (transactional and/or controversy).
Proven track record advising corporate clients on tax structuring, M&A, or related matters.
Demonstrated ability to lead deal teams and mentor associates.
Business development capability; portable client relationships or a plan to develop them preferred.
Bar admission and credentials appropriate for partner practice.
