An established tax partner opportunity on the New York team of a leading international law firm. The role will sit within an experienced tax practice and involve advising clients on complex tax matters across transactional, advisory and controversy work.

The firm is looking for a senior lawyer who can contribute at partner level: leading engagements, managing a team, and developing client relationships. Candidates with an existing portable practice or demonstrable business origination ability are encouraged to apply.

Proven partner-level tax experience at a major law firm or equivalent.
Track record of client development and ability to bring or grow a portable practice.
Strong technical knowledge across corporate and transactional tax issues (including advisory and controversy areas).
Experience leading teams and mentoring junior lawyers; excellent communication and business-development skills.
Admission to the New York bar or eligibility to practise in New York.
