Our client, a leading international law firm, is seeking a lateral tax partner to join its Salt Lake City office. The role will involve leading tax planning and controversy matters for a broad range of corporate and high-net-worth clients, working closely with transactional and litigation teams across the firm.

The appointment offers significant responsibility for developing client relationships and expanding the local tax practice. Candidates with an existing portable practice or demonstrable ability to originate and grow business will be particularly attractive.

Established tax partner with significant experience in federal and state tax matters.
Proven track record of originating and managing client relationships; portable practice preferred.
Strong technical skills in tax planning, compliance, and controversy.
Excellent business development and leadership abilities; experience mentoring junior lawyers.
Active bar admission and the ability to practice in the relevant jurisdiction.
