Leading international technology-focused law firm is seeking a Patent Associate to join its life sciences patent prosecution team in Brussels. The role focuses on drafting and prosecuting patents for clients in pharmaceuticals, biotechnology and related life-science disciplines.

Candidates should hold an advanced scientific degree and have recent law‑firm patent prosecution experience. 1–4 years' patent prosecution experience in a law‑firm environment
Membership on the patent bar / qualified to practice before patent office
Advanced degree in a relevant scientific discipline (e.g. cell/molecular biology, immunology, biochemistry, bioinformatics, bioengineering, organic/medicinal chemistry, cancer biology, pharmacology, biophysics, digital health)
Prior patent agent experience preferred; strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills; excellent academic record
