Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting and prosecuting U.S. patent applications, responding to office actions, collaborating with inventors and cross-office teams, and contributing to client-focused matter management. USPTO registration and state bar admission (or ability to waive-in) are required.
The group emphasizes collaborative, client-oriented work and offers a hybrid schedule with an expectation of in-office attendance roughly three days per week. The anticipated initial salary range for this role is $175,000–$255,000, with additional firm compensation and benefits.
- 1–3 years patent prosecution experience (as agent or attorney)
- Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline; advanced degree a plus
- Practical experience with mechanical technologies; ability to handle chemical/materials filings
- USPTO registration and admission to a U.S. state bar (or waiver/transfer eligibility)
- Strong academic record and excellent written/oral communication skills; team-oriented and client-focused
