Join an established international IP team in Munich advising German and global clients across industry, academia and start‑ups on patent prosecution, enforcement and defence in chemistry and biochemistry. The group handles both national and multinational matters and works closely with litigation colleagues on infringement and validity proceedings, including cases before the UPC.

The role offers immediate involvement in projects and transactions, early client contact, and structured mentoring and training to develop your prosecution and contentious skills. Flexible and global working arrangements and employee wellbeing programmes are available.

Degree in chemistry or closely related discipline
Qualification as a German Patentanwalt and EQE qualification
Experience in EPO prosecution, opposition and appeal work — preferably in polymer chemistry and biochemistry
Strong analytical and drafting skills; ability to handle complex technical issues
Excellent German and good English; collaborative team player with a self‑starter attitude
