Patent Litigation Associate — Chicago (Mid–Senior)

Mid–senior level associate role within a national intellectual property litigation practice. The team handles patent disputes across district courts and administrative forums, working with clients to protect and monetize patent assets and navigate evolving case law.

Associates are expected to take significant responsibility on matters, draft and advocate on substantive filings, and collaborate across offices. The group values self-starters with strong judgment, clear communication, and the ability to manage fast-paced, complex litigation.

This position is open to candidates willing to work out of the Chicago office; salary range for Chicago is approximately $275,000–$350,000 (range varies by location). Standard benefits and potential contingent compensation apply.

• Several years of experience in patent litigation (district court and/or administrative proceedings).
• Juris Doctor and active bar admission (or ability to transfer/admit) in the relevant U.S. jurisdiction.
• Comfort drafting substantive briefs, discovery responses, claim construction submissions, and dispositive motions.
• Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills; able to manage matter responsibilities with limited supervision.
