Top-tier intellectual property team in Chicago is seeking a junior to mid-level Patent Litigation Associate to join its patent litigation group. The role will support a wide range of patent disputes, including defense against non-practicing entities and competitor v. competitor matters, across technologies such as software, telecommunications, hardware and manufacturing.

Work will include drafting motions and briefs, claim construction and invalidity/invalidity analyses, coordinating fact and expert discovery, assisting with depositions and trial preparation, and collaborating with technically trained colleagues. The team advises sophisticated corporate clients and handles complex, high-stakes matters in federal courts.

Salary range provided: $235,000 - $410,000.

Junior to mid-level associate with prior patent litigation experience (briefing, discovery, claim construction, or trial support)
Strong written and oral advocacy skills; experience drafting motions, claim charts, and technical analyses
Comfort working on technology-heavy matters; advanced degree in engineering/science a plus but not required
Bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction or eligibility to be admitted
