Patent Litigation Associate — Intellectual Property, Richmond

Seeking a junior to mid-level Patent Litigation Associate to join a busy IP litigation team in Richmond. The role will handle contested patent matters across a range of technologies, working on both offensive and defensive litigation against competitors and non-practicing entities.

The team litigates complex patent cases in federal court and before the ITC, frequently collaborating with engineers and experts. You will draft pleadings and briefs, manage discovery, support depositions, and assist with claim construction and technical analyses.

• Junior to mid-level associate with substantive patent litigation experience
• Experience drafting briefs, managing discovery, and supporting depositions in federal court matters
• Comfort working with technical documents and coordinating with expert witnesses; advanced STEM degree or technical background preferred
• Strong writing, research, and advocacy skills; ability to work on fast-paced, high-stakes matters
