Patent Litigation Associate — New York

Mid‑level patent litigation role in the Intellectual Property & Technology group of a leading international law firm’s New York office. The position offers full‑time employment on high‑stakes patent matters across a variety of industries, with competitive compensation and benefits.

The successful candidate will handle all aspects of patent litigation, including written discovery, brief writing, depositions and support for trials. This is a hands‑on role requiring strong legal research, drafting and analytical skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively on complex matters.

• 6–8 years of patent litigation experience.
• Technical background in electrical engineering, software, and/or pharmaceutical sciences.
• Demonstrated experience managing written discovery, drafting briefs, and taking/defending depositions; some trial experience preferred.
• Excellent legal research, writing and analytical skills; self‑motivated and flexible.
• Admission to practice in New York required; prior experience at a national or international law firm preferred.
