Amid multiple U.S. offices, a national IP practice is seeking a mid-to-senior level Associate to join its Patent Prosecution & Litigation team focused on electrical engineering and software matters. The role covers drafting, prosecution, and litigation support across a mix of technology matters.

Successful candidates will work on matters involving software, AI/machine learning, semiconductors, and device technologies where relevant, collaborating with cross-office teams and supporting client prosecution strategies.

This is a multi-office hiring opportunity; candidates should be able to work from any stated U.S. office and must be registered with the USPTO.

4–7 years of relevant experience in patent prosecution and drafting
Degree or technical background in computer science, electrical engineering, or a closely related field
USPTO registration required
Licensed (or able to obtain licensure promptly) in the U.S. state of employment
Strong written and oral communication, analytical skills, and academic credentials
Experience with AI/ML, software development, semiconductors, or medical devices is a plus
