Join a national Business Law team as a Practice Support Lawyer based in Toronto. This newly created, hybrid-role focuses on developing and maintaining model precedents, practice guidance and knowledge assets to support transactional lawyers across offices and regions.

The role combines precedent drafting and review, market-term monitoring, and collaboration with Legal Solutions/Knowledge teams and the Professional Journey Office to deploy training, workflows and AI-enabled drafting tools. You will act as a technical resource for associates and students, providing annotated precedents, drafting feedback and curriculum input.

This position requires an active Ontario bar membership and 5–8 years of Business Law experience. The team emphasizes professional development, cross-office collaboration and the use of legal technology to improve drafting quality and efficiency.

LL.B. or J.D.; active membership in the Law Society of Ontario required (Québec bar an asset)
5–8 years of Business Law experience at a large, full‑service firm — experience in Private/Public M&A and/or Capital Markets preferred
Proven drafting skills and experience developing or maintaining precedent libraries and practice resources
Familiarity with legal technology and AI-assisted drafting tools; experience with knowledge management an asset
Strong written and oral communication, presentation and relationship‑building skills; teamwork orientation
Bilingualism (English/French) preferred
