Senior role within a specialist healthcare team handling defendant-side clinical negligence and related healthcare law matters. The team advises on clinical negligence, patient safety, consent to treatment, mental health and child law, working closely with healthcare professionals and public-sector clients.

The role involves managing a mixed caseload of litigated and pre‑litigation clinical negligence claims, conducting investigations, instructing experts, and liaising with claimants, counsel and client stakeholders. There is scope to lead client-facing initiatives, develop junior lawyers and contribute to business development and operational matters.

Qualified solicitor (England & Wales) with around 5 years' PQE.
Experience managing complex defendant clinical negligence claims; NHS Resolution experience desirable.
Strong technical knowledge of CPR, clinical negligence procedure and evidential investigation.
Proven ability to supervise junior staff, meet targets and lead client-facing initiatives; excellent communication and organisational skills.
