Principal Associate — Corporate Occupier, Birmingham

Senior real estate role within a specialist corporate occupier team based in Birmingham. The role covers the full range of commercial property work for occupier clients, including leasehold and freehold acquisitions and disposals, landlord & tenant matters, due diligence and certificates of title. You will work on sizeable, fast-paced matters for sophisticated occupiers across retail, manufacturing, leisure, infrastructure and corporate sectors.

The position involves leading transactions, providing clear commercial advice on property risk and acting as a trusted advisor to clients. You will support and work alongside senior lawyers, manage files independently, and supervise and develop more junior team members.

• Minimum 6 years' PQE in real estate-focused practice.
• Proven experience advising occupiers on acquisitions, disposals and landlord & tenant transactions, including leasehold and freehold matters.
• Track record of leading transactions and supervising junior lawyers.
• Comfortable reporting on complex registered and unregistered titles and handling due diligence.
• Commercial mindset with strong client-facing and relationship-development skills; able to manage compliance, billing and collections processes.
