Principal Associate — Healthcare Regulatory Defence, Leeds

Join a nationally recognised healthcare regulatory and professional discipline team based in Leeds, acting for medical defence organisations, insurers and private clients in regulatory, disciplinary, coronial and criminal matters.

The role will involve managing a caseload including GDC/GMC investigations, inquests, police investigations and Trust disciplinary proceedings. You will take responsibility for files with limited supervision, conduct advocacy where required and support the wider team on complex matters.

• Qualified Solicitor with approximately 2–5 years PQE
• Experience advising on healthcare regulator matters (GDC/GMC) and investigations
• Practical advocacy experience (pre-inquest hearings and inquests desirable)
• Proven ability to manage cases independently and meet chargeable/financial targets
• Strong drafting, analytical, organisational and IT skills; excellent communication and client-service focus
