Join a national healthcare regulatory and professional discipline team that acts for medical defence organisations, insurers and private clients on regulatory, disciplinary, coronial and criminal matters. The team handles GDC/GMC investigations, inquests, police investigations and Trust disciplinary cases.

This role is based in Leeds and involves taking responsibility for a caseload with minimal supervision, conducting advocacy at pre-inquest reviews and inquests where appropriate, supervising junior fee-earners, and contributing to client reporting and business development.

  • Qualified Solicitor with approximately 2–5 years PQE
  • Practical experience advising on healthcare regulator investigations (GMC, GDC or equivalent)
  • Advocacy experience and comfort appearing at hearings and inquests
  • Proven ability to manage cases independently, meet targets and produce client MI/reports
  • Strong communication, organisation, analytical and IT skills; collaborative team player with commercial awareness
