Apply in confidence →Top-tier national law firm is seeking a Privacy & Cybersecurity Litigation Associate to join a market-recognized privacy and cybersecurity litigation team. The team defends companies across industries in complex data-privacy and security disputes, regulatory matters, and incident-response litigation.
The role involves handling high-profile and class-action matters in state and federal court, supporting regulatory investigations and enforcement responses, and working directly with clients and cross-disciplinary teams on fast-moving matters.
This position is open to candidates for any U.S. office and offers exposure to cutting-edge privacy and data-security litigation with significant client contact and responsibility.
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- 2–4 years of litigation experience, with a focus on privacy, cybersecurity, consumer-protection, or related class-action litigation
- Experience defending claims under privacy and consumer statutes (examples: CCPA/CPRA, TCPA, COPPA, BIPA, FCRA) and familiarity with regulatory investigations is a plus
- Strong technical aptitude and understanding of cybersecurity and data technologies; interest or experience in incident response
- Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills; ability to work directly with clients and multiple stakeholders
- Admission and good standing with the California bar (per role requirements)
