Private Client Dispute Resolution Associate — New York

Mid-level associate position on a Private Client Dispute Resolution team in the New York office handling complex trust and estate litigation. The role focuses on contested Surrogate’s Court matters and related fiduciary disputes.

Typical matters include will contests, accounting proceedings, fiduciary removal actions, discovery disputes, and representation of trustees, executors, beneficiaries and other interested parties. Candidates will collaborate with a team that handles high-stakes, document- and motion-intensive litigation in New York courts.

• 4–5 years of trust and estate litigation experience
• Strong working knowledge of New York Surrogate’s Court procedures and practice
• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
• Admission to the New York Bar or eligibility for admission
• Experience with Connecticut trust & estate litigation and/or Connecticut Bar admission preferred
• Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills
