Private Equity Associate — Corporate & Securities, Chicago

Growing US corporate and securities team is seeking two mid-level associates to join its private equity practice in Chicago. The group advises on complex private equity and M&A transactions across the investment lifecycle and works on a national platform.

Successful candidates will take substantive transactional responsibility from inception through closing and collaborate with deal teams on structuring, diligence, documentation and negotiation. This is an opportunity to join a high-volume, sophisticated private equity practice and contribute to its continued expansion.

• 3–7 years of private equity / complex M&A transactional experience at a law firm
• Proven ability to lead deal work and manage key closing responsibilities
• Strong academic credentials and polished drafting, negotiation and communication skills
• Licensed to practice in the relevant US jurisdiction or eligible to be admitted
