Private Equity Associate — Washington, DC

Seeking a 3rd–6th year attorney to join a national private equity practice in Washington, DC. The role focuses on representation of private equity sponsors and portfolio companies on buyouts and related transactions, acting as a hands-on member of deal teams.

Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting and negotiating purchase and merger agreements, LLC and LP agreements and ancillary transaction documents, managing workflow across transactions, and providing commercial, strategic advice to clients in a team-oriented environment.

• 3–6 years PQE with transactional private equity and M&A experience
• Proven experience drafting and negotiating purchase/merger agreements, LLC/LP agreements and related documents
