Private Equity Attorney — Corporate, Los Angeles

Top-tier US law firm seeks a 3rd–6th year private equity associate to join the corporate team in Los Angeles. The role focuses on representing sponsors and portfolio companies on buyouts and strategic M&A transactions.

Day-to-day work includes drafting and negotiating purchase and merger agreements, LLC and LP agreements and ancillary transactional documents, and acting as an extension of client business teams in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

The team values strong commercial judgment, excellent drafting and writing skills, high attention to detail, and prior large-firm private equity experience.

• 3–6 years post-qualification transactional/private equity experience
• Experience drafting and negotiating purchase and merger agreements, LLC and LP agreements and related transaction documents
• Strong drafting, writing, analytical and project-management skills
• Prior large-firm experience and excellent academic credentials
