Senior counsel role in a national private wealth team advising high‑net‑worth individuals and families on sophisticated estate and wealth‑transfer planning. The position focuses on designing and implementing estate plans, asset‑protection strategies, and gift and estate tax planning.

Hybrid and remote options are available; candidates in Dallas, Kansas City, Milwaukee, Nashville, or St. Louis are strongly preferred. The role involves close collaboration with financial‑services and capital‑markets lawyers and delivering high‑touch, client‑facing advice.

  • Minimum ~8 years of private wealth / trusts & estates experience (preferably handling complex estate plans)
  • Strong knowledge of federal gift and estate tax issues and asset‑protection strategies
  • Experience with charitable giving planning a plus
  • Excellent drafting, interpersonal and project‑management skills; ability to manage multiple matters under pressure
  • Active bar admission in the hiring office state or commitment to obtain promptly
  • Outstanding academic credentials and commitment to client service
