Apply in confidence →Join a national legal and professional services group as a Professional Support Lawyer supporting Building Safety Act and construction-defects work. The role coordinates know-how across Real Estate Dispute Resolution, Construction and Regulatory teams, keeping colleagues updated on legal and regulatory developments and producing insight and guidance for fee-earners and clients.
The role combines substantive drafting of knowledge products with project coordination: maintaining precedents, developing technical guidance on defects and remediation, supporting recovery-workstreams, and exploring generative-AI solutions to improve knowledge workflows. The team works across advising on fire-safety remediation, regulatory requirements and dispute resolution strategies.
This is a part-time role (approximately 22.5 hours per week is preferred) with flexible/hybrid working and collaboration across multiple specialist units.
- Experience in contentious property or construction work, preferably involving building safety/cladding or technical defects.
- Proven skill producing high-quality insight, guidance and knowledge‑share materials for fee-earners and clients.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to coordinate information across multi-disciplinary teams.
- Comfortable using technology, including generative-AI tools, to enhance knowledge-management and precedent development.
- Ability to work part-time and manage workload sensitively across teams (returners and applicants seeking flexible hours encouraged).
