Top-ranked projects and project finance team in Singapore is hiring a mid‑senior associate to work on cross‑border energy and infrastructure transactions. The role focuses on project finance and related project documentation across sectors such as power and renewables, energy transition, low‑carbon fuels, battery minerals/metals supply chains and digital infrastructure.

The successful candidate will draft and negotiate project and finance documents, manage transaction workstreams, and deliver commercially focused advice to international sponsors, lenders and investors. The team values technical drafting ability, commercial judgment, and experience on complex, multi‑jurisdictional transactions.

  • 5–6 years' post‑qualification experience (UK equivalent PQE); qualified in Singapore, England & Wales or equivalent common law jurisdiction.
  • Proven experience drafting and negotiating project documentation for limited‑recourse project finance transactions.
  • Experience in power/renewables, energy, utilities and infrastructure projects; familiarity with FIDIC and standard construction/operation contracts preferred.
  • Knowledge of power purchase agreements, offtake, feedstock/fuel supply, concession and ancillary security documentation advantageous.
  • Excellent drafting, commercial judgement, due diligence and transaction management skills; ability to lead workstreams on complex, time‑critical deals.
  • International experience, strong academics, team player; Mandarin or other Asian language skills a plus.
