The role offers substantive, market-facing work across the full lifecycle of public finance financings, acting as core bond counsel on governmental and economic development transactions and advising on federal and state tax issues.

Opportunity to build a private activity practice (health care, housing, exempt facilities and similar work) while working closely with senior lawyers focused on long-term growth of the practice. The position requires client-facing engagement, travel throughout the state, and participation in speaking and networking activities.

JD from an ABA-accredited law school
Admission to the Montana bar or ability to become admitted
Approximately 5+ years of transactional experience; public finance experience strongly preferred
Comfort serving as bond counsel and handling federal/state tax aspects of financings
Willingness to travel statewide and engage directly with clients; business development aptitude for a market-facing role
