Top-ranked public finance practice is seeking a 3–4 year associate to join its Sacramento or Los Angeles office. The team represents a broad range of public-sector and nonprofit borrowers, underwriters and other market participants on municipal bonds, notes and related financings across the U.S.

Work will include drafting and negotiating transaction documents, preparing disclosure and security analyses, and supporting tax-exempt and taxable financings, securitizations, public‑private partnerships and workout/insolvency matters as needed. The group provides structured on-the-job training and mentoring for associates.

The firm values collegiality, strong client service, and clear written communication. This role requires bar admission and the ability to satisfy local jurisdictional requirements.

3–4 years of relevant law firm experience in public finance or related transactional practice
Admission to the bar of a U.S. state and ability to meet office jurisdiction requirements
Strong drafting, communication and client service skills; highly motivated and well organized
Experience or familiarity with UCC and securities laws and tax‑exempt financings is a plus, but not required
