Join a major Japanese law firm with a broad domestic and international presence. The firm is recruiting experienced lawyers across practice areas to join its Tokyo office on a lateral basis.

Typical responsibilities include fee-earning legal work in your practice area and contribution to firm-wide knowledge initiatives — maintaining internal legal databases, distributing updates on regulatory changes, and helping plan and deliver internal training for lawyers.

Qualified to practise law in Japan (Japanese bar admission)
Relevant experience in your stated practice area(s); lateral candidates at multiple levels considered
Strong written and verbal Japanese; English ability desirable depending on practice
Team player with experience contributing to knowledge sharing, training or practice development
