Seeking a Real Estate Associate to join a busy West Coast real estate team with work based in the Los Angeles (or San Francisco) office. The role involves handling sophisticated commercial and residential transactions across asset classes and supporting cross-border and domestic clients.

You'll work on purchases and sales, leasing (office, retail, industrial, ground and agricultural), financings, conveyancing, entitlements/subdivisions, construction-related agreements and complex ownership structures. The team emphasises collaboration with tax, trusts & estates and litigation colleagues.

The position suits a proactive practitioner who can manage transactions from due diligence through closing, contribute to business development, and help build the group's profile.

Admitted and in good standing with the California Bar.
3–5 years' post-qualification experience in a law firm's real estate practice.
Experience with commercial and residential transactions, leasing and real estate finance; entitlements, conveyancing and construction experience preferred.
Strong drafting, research and project-management skills; excellent written and verbal communication.
Domestic experience required; international/cross-border experience a plus. Team player with business-development aptitude.
