Join a national real estate practice with strong regional presence across Leeds, Manchester and Sheffield. The Northern transactions team advises on a broad commercial property portfolio including development‑led deals, investment acquisitions and disposals, property finance and landlord & tenant matters.

The role will involve managing matters from instruction to completion, providing clear, pragmatic commercial advice to developers, investors, landowners, funders and occupiers, and working cross‑functionally with planning, construction, corporate and banking colleagues to deliver integrated solutions.

Senior hires will also provide supervision and mentoring to junior lawyers and contribute to business development and team growth initiatives. The team promotes a collaborative, inclusive culture and flexible working approaches.

Minimum 4 years PQE in transactional real estate law.
Strong technical experience on development‑led transactions; experience across acquisitions, disposals, investment and property finance advantageous.
Commercial, pragmatic approach with client‑facing experience and ability to manage multiple matters to completion.
For senior candidates: demonstrable supervisory/mentoring experience and involvement in business development.
