Growing real estate team seeks a Real Estate Associate or Special Counsel to join the lender‑side practice in New York (candidates in DC may also be considered). The role will focus on commercial real estate lending matters and support a market‑leading group handling complex loan transactions.

Ideal candidates will spend at least 60% of their time on lender‑side work and will work across syndications, loan documentation and related transactional matters. The group values strong technical skills, clear drafting, and confident client communication.

At least 6 years of law firm experience (PQE).
Significant experience representing lenders in commercial real estate loans; construction loan experience preferred.
Ability and commitment to focus a majority (≈60%+) of time on lender‑side matters.
Outstanding academic credentials and strong written and oral communication skills.
