Apply in confidence →Join a leading firm’s Real Estate Energy & Infrastructure team in Edinburgh to work on major renewable and energy-transition projects across the UK. The role involves advising on the real estate components of large-scale infrastructure schemes and supporting consenting and delivery processes.
You will draft and negotiate options, leases, development agreements and other project documents; lead title, access, site assembly and land due diligence; and work with developers, landowners, investors, public bodies and funders. The role is collaborative and cross-disciplinary, interfacing with planning, construction, corporate, regulatory and finance teams.
The team offers structured development, responsibility for substantive work from day one, and opportunities to contribute to business development and mentor junior lawyers.
- Qualified solicitor in England & Wales.
- Approximately 2 years' PQE in commercial real estate (as stated).
- Experience on energy, renewables, infrastructure or major development projects.
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills and proven ability to manage complex matters and stakeholders.
- Practical, commercial mindset with curiosity about the energy transition and infrastructure delivery.
- Collaborative team player with an interest in business development and mentoring.
