Top-tier New York law office is seeking a Real Estate Finance associate to join its Real Estate Finance group. The role focuses on complex commercial real estate debt matters across the capital stack, including mezzanine financing, mortgage financings, construction loans, bridge and permanent originations, and intercreditor/co-lender arrangements.

Successful candidates will join a busy transactional team handling loan syndications and sales, preferred equity investments, and workout/restructuring matters. The office offers a competitive compensation package and broader benefits aligned with internal pay practices.

2–7 years' post-qualification experience at a major law firm in real estate finance or related practice
Substantive experience with mezzanine financings, mortgage financings, construction loans, bridge/permanent loans, and intercreditor/co-lender documentation
Strong transactional drafting and negotiation skills; experience with loan participations, syndications, sales, and restructurings preferred
Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced practice and work collaboratively on deal teams
