Real Estate Finance Associate — New York

Mid‑level associate role in a major international firm’s New York Real Estate Finance team. The group is lender‑focused and handles complex commercial real estate financings and related restructurings across the U.S.

Work will be transaction‑driven and cover senior mortgage and mezzanine financings, bridge and construction loans, preferred equity investments, loan portfolio acquisitions and sales, and structured secondary‑market matters. The team also advises on restructurings and modifications of performing and distressed assets.

• 3–5 years post‑qualification experience in real estate finance (JD 2023–2021).
• Solid experience on lender‑side commercial real estate financings (senior mortgages, mezzanine, bridge, construction, preferred equity, portfolio transactions).
• Proven transactional drafting, negotiation and deal management skills.
• Strong academic credentials and ability to work on complex, cross‑border or multi‑party financings.
