Seeking a regulatory‑focused energy associate or senior attorney to join a multidisciplinary energy team, with primary office options in Boise, Minneapolis, Phoenix, or Salt Lake City. The role centers on transactional work for the electric sector, advising on industry‑specific contracts and regulatory interfaces.

Typical matters include negotiating and drafting power purchase agreements, interconnection agreements (generators, transmission, and load), electric service and transmission service agreements, and large‑load matters. Candidates with FERC and state regulatory experience are preferred.

  • JD from an ABA‑accredited law school
  • 5–10 years of energy transactional experience (electric sector experience required)
  • Experience with PPAs, interconnection agreements, transmission and electric service agreements, and large load matters
  • Bar admission (Idaho, Minnesota, Arizona, or Utah) or ability to become admitted in one of those states
  • Strong written and oral communication skills; attention to detail
  • FERC and/or state regulatory experience preferred
