National practice seeking an Associate to join a Houston-based Renewable Energy Tax group. The team advises developers, independent power producers, utilities and infrastructure investors on tax structuring, incentives and regulatory considerations across renewable energy projects and technologies.

Work will include transactional tax advice, diligence on project platforms and real property/regulatory issues, and analysis of federal and state tax incentives and emerging programs. The group provides end-to-end support for projects nationwide and emphasizes practical, business-focused solutions to help move projects to completion.

JD from an accredited law school and admission to the Texas bar (or eligibility to waive/obtain admission)
Experience advising on tax aspects of renewable energy projects, including tax incentives and transactional structuring

Strong drafting, analytical and client-service skills; ability to work collaboratively on cross-functional teams
