Apply in confidence →Opportunity for a real estate lawyer specialising in residential development to join a well-regarded national practice in Leeds. The role focuses on advising housebuilders, developers and landowners on land acquisition, site assembly, disposals and development agreements across residential schemes.
Day-to-day work will include handling land transactions, planning condition and S106 matters, title due diligence, drafting and negotiating option agreements, overage/development agreements and related documentation. The team works closely with planning and construction specialists to deliver transactions through to completion.
- Qualified solicitor in England & Wales.
- Proven experience in residential development and land use matters (options, conditional contracts, site assembly).
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills; comfortable with title and planning due diligence.
- Client-facing, commercially focused, able to manage transactions and collaborate with planning/construction teams.
