The role sits within a busy real estate practice advising housebuilders, developers and landowners on transactional and land‑use issues.
Appointments are available across multiple UK offices, with particular hiring needs in Newcastle and Leeds. You will work on day-to-day development transactions, drafting and negotiating sale and purchase documentation, overage/completion mechanics and related title and planning matters under the supervision of senior lawyers.
This is a hands-on role suited to a newly qualified lawyer looking to build a specialist residential development practice and gain exposure to a varied pipeline of regional development work.
- Newly qualified solicitor (or shortly to qualify) in England & Wales, with seat(s) or training in real estate desirable.
- Experience or strong interest in residential development, land acquisitions, plot sales and related title/planning issues.
- Good drafting and negotiation skills, with commercial awareness and the ability to manage client instructions.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team across multiple offices.
