Join a highly regarded national commercial law practice as a Resource Lawyer in the Emerging & High Growth (EHG) team. This hybrid role sits in the Calgary office and focuses on supporting corporate transactions for early- and growth-stage venture clients, including incorporations, financings and routine closing work.

You will work alongside experienced corporate lawyers to prepare organizational and transactional documentation, support due diligence and closings, maintain cap tables and equity registers, and help evolve an enhanced, tech-enabled service delivery model for venture clients.

The role emphasizes efficient, technology-forward execution of repeatable corporate tasks and contributes to internal data and reporting initiatives related to venture financings.

Called to the Alberta Bar (new calls welcome).
Experience in corporate practice areas such as M&A, private equity and/or capital markets; familiarity with venture-stage transactions preferred.
Practical skills in due diligence, contract review, document preparation/closings and maintenance of cap table/equity registers.
Comfortable with legal technology and process-driven workflows; ability to work occasional evenings/weekends when required.
